Time to Submit: Starting Over with God’s Plan in Mind

Have you ever looked around and realized—somehow, God no longer had a place in your schedule? Your priorities? Your heart?

The truth is, many of us don’t deliberately push God aside… but life’s busyness slowly builds a house that He didn’t design.

The Word of the Lord in Haggai 1:5-7 says:

“Now this is what the Lord Almighty says: Give careful thought to your ways. You have planted much but harvested little... You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it... Consider your ways.”

These verses are not about punishment, but about rebuilding. A divine invitation to realign.

🔨 WHAT I'VE LEARNED LATELY:

In the quiet moments—between the rush of responsibilities and the stillness of prayer—I heard God whisper:“What are you building… and who told you to build it that way?”

I was doing so much—but for what? And for whom?Even the things that looked good were draining because they weren’t God-approved blueprints.

True building starts by submitting the project back to the Master Builder.

🏠 SCRIPTURE FOCUS:

Psalm 127:1

“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain…”

Matthew 6:33

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

💬 REFLECTION QUESTIONS:

1. Have I invited God into my current season—or am I managing things on my own?

2. What areas of my life feel out of balance?

3. Am I building a life that reflects God's priorities—or just my own expectations?

4. What needs to be reordered so that God is truly first?

“I choose to rebuild with God’s blueprint. I give Him full access to reorder my life, my priorities, and my plans.”

🙏🏽 PRAYER:

Heavenly Father,You are the Wise Master Builder. Forgive me for the times I’ve rushed ahead, building without Your plans. Today, I submit every blueprint, every idea, every dream into Your hands. Teach me how to rebuild with You at the center. Reorder my steps. Align my heart. Reconstruct my life to glorify You—and You alone.In Jesus’ name,Amen.
